The Ottawa Safety Council is committed to kids' safety. One of the ways we do this is through our Adult Crossing Guard program. Our trained Crossing Guards ensure that your child is safe crossing busy streets on the way to and from school. Be safe; teach your children to obey the crossing guard. Keep an eye out whenever driving through a school zone.

Learning safety in a fun environment!
Summer camps, day programs, school and community group presentations all fall under the umbrella of the Children's Safety Village. Is it a visit from Elmer the Safety Elephant? How about learning about traffic safety in an interactive way? Maybe you'd like to learn about road safety at a summer day camp. Our programs for children are varied and relevant to children ages 4 to 12 years old.
