Marketing & Media Relations Coordinator
The Ottawa Safety Council requires an energetic, motivated and career-minded Marketing and Media Relations Coordinator to be responsible for the representation of a positive organization image and branding to the media, clients, stakeholders, and the general public. The Coordinator will use all forms of media and communication to build, maintain and manage the representation of the organization both internally and externally, in order to establish and maintain goodwill. This person is responsible for ensuring consistent and cohesive messaging that speaks to the community at large and must be aware of current trends and react quickly to changes in the industry or at Ottawa Safety Council. She/he will have frequent interactions with external and internal clients. This individual is responsible for directing the development of organizations publications, including materials for the Ottawa Safety Councils members.

The successful candidate must possess superior organizational skills and be a skillful communicator. Our ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, exemplary customer service, and networking skills. As the first point of contact through social media, you will be the key to our customer intimacy policy involving our students, volunteers, employees, and stakeholders.
The candidate must possess computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Word Press, Google Analytics, SEO and other graphic and marketing software. She/he must have graphic design skills and an eye for aesthetics in presentation materials and an excellent understanding and working knowledge of brand building and brand management. Our ideal candidate will be fluently bilingual in both official languages.

The salary range for this position is $48,000 – $55,000 with a competitive benefits package that includes medical/dental and RRSP matching.
